Foreword:
This was a very interesting project that I took up in the year 2020. We were in the midst of covid and I had to keep myself busy creatively and so, i came up with this idea to design a massive diecast car display. The design came with a lot of challenges that includes portability, look, strength, child safety, optimal layouts to fit various brands of diecast. Over the period of 3 weeks I did a wooden prototype before actually producing the first one in acrylic sheets. The product was very well received by the diecast community and the first batch of 10 display units were sold out on pre-order.
