This is a project that is really close to my heart. I was inspired by the work done by the Late Michael Paul Smith. The finesse with which he made miniatures and shot them was fabulous. This is my journey through forced perspective photography which is a very hardly touched upon subject even on google. When I googled for this just as we would for other subjects of interest I hardly found any results. This rekindled the interest to do miniatures. This i done using a layering technique. As simple as it may seem, it requires hours of setup time and lighting, sometimes more complex than all the fashion shoots I've done till date. There is more to unlearn than to learn in this niche field which isn't so niche at the moment. That is the exact reason why I plan to create a niche right here. Photo-realism is achieved when you can have your viewers never guess that it were a miniature until you tell them that it is. This reminds me of how one of my friends had stated that the best of the spies in the world were never known to the world. Enjoy!
